When you use our website and our email newsletter, empaction GmbH collects personal data. For this reason, data privacy is a top priority for us, and we are committed to protecting your data. With this statement about how we handle personal data (data privacy statement), we want to inform you about our reasons for collecting, saving and using personal data, as well as how we protect it.
Your personal data will only be saved if you provide it to us yourself, for instance by registering, filling out a contact form, or for the purpose of executing a contract or obtaining information. We use the personal data you provide in order to answer your questions, process your orders and give you access to certain information and offerings. With your permission, we use personal data to inform you about our company’s products and services, and to conduct online surveys.
empaction GmbH will not sell or otherwise transmit your data to third parties in Germany or in another country. Data will only be shared within the scope necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations. In addition, we will only transmit personal data to state institutions or agencies if this is required due to binding legal regulations or judicial decisions. Your data will not be transmitted to other private third parties without your express permission. When you use our website, information about your visit will automatically be saved on a regular basis. This information includes the pages you call up, the browser you use, your operating system, the date, time and length of your visit, and your internet protocol (IP) address.
If you request information about products and services from empaction GmbH, we may use your personal data to contact you by email after sending you the requested information in order to ask whether you need further information, or to recommend updates and similar documents as well as related events. If you do not agree to this, you can inform us at any time and we will correct, block or delete your personal data at your request. When you subscribe to our newsletter, you will receive an email from us asking you to confirm your newsletter request (double opt-in process) in order to make sure a third party is not misusing your personal data. Naturally, you can easily unsubscribe from the newsletter again at any time.
All of our employees and all third parties involved in processing the data are obligated to comply with the applicable standards, including the Federal Data Protection Act and the German Telemedia Act, and to treat personal data as confidential.
empaction GmbH implements technical and organizational measures to protect its website and other systems from loss, destruction, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons. The third-party use of contact information published in the Legal Notice, or comparable information – such as mailing addresses, phone and fax numbers as well as email addresses – to send information that was not explicitly requested is prohibited. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action against the senders of spam messages in the event that this prohibition is violated.
You can request the personal data that we have saved about you at any time, and you can revoke your data-usage permission at any time with effect for the future. To do so, please send us your revocation statement by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, by mail to empaction GmbH, Markstraße 33 – 35, 60388 Frankfurt am Main, or by fax to 069 999 99 41 09. Your data will then be deleted immediately unless the use of certain data is required in order to provide a service or execute a contract, or on the basis of statutory obligations.
We also use Google Analytics to evaluate data from AdWords and the double-click cookie for statistical purposes. If you do not agree to this, you can block it through the ad manager (http://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=de).
Our website includes links to social networks and partner providers. empaction GmbH identifies these links so that you know when you are leaving one of our pages and going to a partner provider’s page. Any necessary transmission of header data (including the IP address) to the partner provider usually only takes place in order to provide the information. This data is then subject to protection by § 15 TMG [German Telemedia Act] and cannot be used for creating a profile or for any other purpose. Data transmission to the platform provider (Facebook, Xing or LinkedIn) will only be initiated when you click on the link. Active use of the respective social networks is then subject to the data privacy conditions and usage conditions of the respective providers. You can find information about their collection, storage and use of your data in their respective data privacy policies.
If you have any questions about this data protection declaration or about the processing of your personal details, you can contact our data security inspector Mr. Marc Hengst, email@example.com, phone: +49 69 999 99 41 06 or at the above address.
